Sealdah is one of the busiest railway station in India. Nit only in India but also the busiest railway station of Asia. This station has a footfall passengers of over 1.8 million daily traveling. Not only express trains are avail but also local trains are available at this station. History of this station Sealdah railway station was started in 1862(157 years ago). And from the year 1960 it is being electrified(59 years ago). At first it was called by '' Eastern Bengal railways ''. Description of the railway station The railway station consist of 20 platforms.
